Otoplasty – is a general term that means a plastic surgery on ears. Mostly, when people are talking about otoplasty, they mean that they wan to get rid of their big elephant ears. But this type plastic surgery also allows do remove deficiencies that were caused by an injury or another way. In general, all plastic surgeries are oriented to improvement of what we have to what we want. So ears, is one of the most easy plastic surgeries that will give you a new outlook and remove all you complexes and let you enjoy the life with all its beauties. There are many different ways how to get rid of lop ears that are known from 1840. But the modern methods of plastic surgery were formed only 50 years ago.
How is the Otoplasty made?
Technical methods of this type of surgery can vary depending on anatomical reasons of lop ears and also on surgeon’s decision. The aim of this surgery is to create a more expressed riffle in the middle part of the ear shell, which is being achieved by plastics of cartilage that is a frame of the outside ear. Getting ready for the surgery

After Surgery Period

And during the night time, some kind of elastic bandage is needed also for the period of one month. The sutures are being removed on the 7th day. After the surgery, there are sometimes light edema on ears, they might turn blue just like bruises because of often haemorhages that will continue for 2-3 weeks.
