Aesthetic Rhinoplasty – is a plastic surgery which is oriented on changing nasal forms. The main aim of this kind of surgery is to build a new harmonic outlook of the face while saving all other individual face characteristics. The best age for this type of surgery is a period from 20 – 50 years old, thought sometimes in special cases, they make surgeries at any age. Contraindications for nose plastic surgery:
- To do the surgery in the age younger than 17 years old
- All kind of somatic sicknesses
- Disturbance of blood coagulation
Precautions:
- Do NOT take Aspirin or pills of the same effect
- If the nose is running, then the surgery will be set aside.
- It’s better not to make the surgery during menstruation days.
- The stomach must be empty : no food, no water within 6 hours before the surgery
How the surgery is being held:
Rhinoplasty is processed while the patient is under the effect of full anesthesia. The durability of the surgery is usually 1-2 hours, though sometimes more difficult cases can take more time. The nose plastic surgery is about changing of the osteochondrosis structure of nose or certain parts of it to shape it the way how the patient wants it to be. It might be shortening of nose, correction of the height and width, straitening the pit or straitening the hump or some kind of changes of the end of nose. Rhinoplasty might be done on the outside and inside. The inside – the cuts are done in the inside area of a nostril. The outside – on the outside of the nose, right where the cartilage is. In both types of surgery the scars are almost invisible.
Rhinoplasty : After the surgery
After the nasal plastic surgery they put tampons inside of your nostrils. If the Rhinoplasty was combined, these tampons should be removed after 2-3 days after he surgery. To save the new made nasal form, they put a gypseous sticker to your nose that you will have to wear during 5-10 days after the surgery. If you wear glasses, then it’s recommended to you not wear them for 1,5 moths after the surgery. The nose gets its final form only after 6-12 months after the surgery. During this time, you might have an edema, which won’t be seen by others, but you will feel it.
